Things to keep in mind

With such an open minded approach we don't want you to get the idea that just because a lab shows up here they are good. That is absolutely not the case, we will hear them out, if they want to send members samples that is up to them, we have to ask them questions about brewing, how long they have been doing it and every other relevant thing you feel necessary. I believe in letting our members do what they want, if they want to try a lab that just started brewing yesterday then that is your choice, I wouldn't recommend it but we are grown men here. There should be no judging unless someone is trying to hurt or take advantage of something else, I'm here to help out and chime in when I see something fishy. I can't do the same things you guys can, for me to take free samples would be a conflict of interest. I don't want to make any profit off of this forum, I just want there to be an alternative to the two extremes that we see over and over. Unmoderated forums where a few members take it upon themselves to be the forum enforcers, let's call them vice mods. Or the ban happy forums with real mods, We need an option in the middle, a moderate board with real freedom, this will be a board where guys do the right thing for each other because it's the right thing to do, not because they are intimidated in to it. There will be scammers in any forum from time to time so we must be vigilant, that does not mean that every lab that comes and posts an intro is going to be one.
